1. Geoffrey Chaucer born c.1343 London, England.
2. Died 25 Oct, 1400 buried in Poets corner of Westminster Abbey, London.
3. He is widely known the Father of the English Literature.
4. He was considered the greatest English poet of middle ages

5. His Literary Work:
The book of the Duchess, The house of  Fame,
The Legend of Good Women, Troilus and Criseyde and The Canterbury Tales
6. “The Canterbury Tales” is considered best known in today era.
7. Chaucer is a crucial Figure in developing the legitimacy
of the vernacular, Middle English, at a time when the dominant literary language in England were French.
8. Getting Fame From these Departments/Disciples in his lifetime; author, philosopher, alchemist and Astronomer.
